Health and Safety Policy – Catansus Painters

At Catansus Painters, safety is part of how we work every day. It is not treated as a box to tick, but as a normal part of every job. A safe working environment leads to better results, clear organisation on site and peace of mind for our clients.

Every project begins with a brief but careful assessment of potential risks. This allows the work to be planned properly from the start and helps prevent issues before they arise. Our team is trained to work safely with tools, ladders and access equipment, and we follow Irish health and safety requirements along with the guidance of the Health and Safety Authority.

Protecting your home is part of working safely. Before any painting begins, furniture, floors and belongings are properly covered and protected. Work areas are kept organised and controlled throughout the project to reduce disruption and avoid unnecessary risks. Hazardous materials such as solvents and thinners are handled and stored carefully, and smoking or alcohol is never permitted on site.

Where work at height is required, no shortcuts are taken. Ladders, scaffolding and access equipment are checked regularly, and our team is trained and certified to carry out this type of work safely, including the use of MEWP equipment where applicable. Safety at height is treated with the same care as every other part of the job.

For our clients, this means reassurance at every stage of the project. Your home and property are protected, work is carried out responsibly, and the team on site remains professional and accountable at all times. Safety and craftsmanship go hand in hand, and neither is compromised.

Health and safety is built into our daily routine, not added as an afterthought. It is one of the reasons clients trust us to work in their homes and recommend us to others. With Catansus Painters, safety is part of doing the job properly, every time.
